Fairview Health Services Maintenance Assistant in Wyoming, Minnesota

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for monitoring preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment. This role would also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shotting of the building systems and equipment for our Senior Assisted Living Community in Wyoming, MN.

This schedule includes;

  • 48 hours every two weeks

  • Day shift

  • Weekends as needed

Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer’s 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents.   • Repairs and maintains physical structure and grounds. This includes the following:

  • Repairs items found deficient by maintenance or requested by work orders

  • Changes filters and check belts on air handle units

  • Checks kitchen equipment

  • Greases, checks belts and oils on laundry equipment

  • Helps in housekeeping as requested

  • Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc

  • Maintains shop in a lean and orderly manner

  • Removes snow from sidewalks and walkways and uses ice melt on sidewalks as needed

  • Trims around bushes, trees, and sidewalks

  • Removes debris and downed palm fronds

  • Keeps grounds safe and looking neat and attractive

  • Processes work oders and performs other duties as assigned

  • Assists with turnover of apartments for new residents

  • All other duties as assigned and directed

Required:

  • Current Driver's License (in good standing)

  • One to Three years of experience

  • Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems

Preferred:

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
