Press Brake Operator

Job Description

  • Set-up and operate Cincinnati Brake Press machines using materials such as stainless steel and cold rolled steel.

  • Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations, including custom punch/die tooling used with standard tooling.

  • Perform complex programming using all press brake features such as bending at angles, offset bends, back gauge transfer between steps, delays, etc.

  • Perform math calculations and measure part dimensions using instruments like calipers, protractors, micrometers, dial indicators, and height gauges.

  • Inspect parts and measure critical dimensions.

  • Meet production rates.

  • Read prints, inspect parts, and complete inspection paperwork.

  • Maintain calibrated tools.

  • Stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time.

  • Lift up to 50lbs.

  • Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.

  • Work safely and follow safety procedures.
