Press Brake Operator
Job Description
Set-up and operate Cincinnati Brake Press machines using materials such as stainless steel and cold rolled steel.
Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations, including custom punch/die tooling used with standard tooling.
Perform complex programming using all press brake features such as bending at angles, offset bends, back gauge transfer between steps, delays, etc.
Perform math calculations and measure part dimensions using instruments like calipers, protractors, micrometers, dial indicators, and height gauges.
Inspect parts and measure critical dimensions.
Meet production rates.
Read prints, inspect parts, and complete inspection paperwork.
Maintain calibrated tools.
Stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time.
Lift up to 50lbs.
Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.
Work safely and follow safety procedures.
