Overview
M Health Fairview is looking for a Housekeeping Aide at Woodwinds Health Campus! This position is 48 hours per two week pay period on the Day Shift . and it is benefit eligible! Pay starts at $20.01 an hr.
This Campus opened its 86-bed hospital in August 2000. Located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands in Woodbury, MN, it’s the only hospital in the southeast metro area. Housekeeping Aide will provide patients, visitors and staff our hospital with a clean and safe environment.

Wednesday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities Job Description
Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve positive clinical and efficient outcomes
Cleans all occupied rooms daily to create a sanitary and clean environment
Prepares discharge units and/or surgical procedure and completes end of day cleaning in surgical procedures rooms to provide a clean sanitary environment to the patients
Maintains and clean and attractive areas including: maintaining of hard surface and carpeted flooring, cleans offices and public areas, collects and disposes of refuse.
Cleans up after emergency spills and breakages to prevent exposure to substances that could be safety hazards
Maintains and performs special work assignments and reports to supervisor upon completion to follow quality and frequency standards in department policy and procedure manual
Understands the security requirements of medications and IV solutions
Restocks paper supplies upon daily cleaning of area to ensure they are adequately filled and maintains linen distribution system to provide user areas with adequate amounts of linen to give patient care
Mixes, uses supplies and maintains equipment to aid in cost containment and safety
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications & Other Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
