Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. IT Intern (onsite) - Summer 2025 in Winsted, Minnesota

NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring an IT Intern for the summer of 2025. The IT Intern is responsible for providing support to the IT department related to supporting end users and equipment and completing tasks within IT projects.

This role is an onsite opportunity based in Winsted, Minnesota.

As an IT Intern, you will:

  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with coworkers to promote a cooperative working climate conducive to maximum productivity, efficiency and effectiveness

  • Communicate relevant information and concerns positively and effectively to others in timely manner

  • Regular and on-time attendance as required for execution of duties

  • Computer equipment set up, trouble shooting and maintenance

  • Support routine network administration duties – backups, server checks, network performance

  • Assist with special projects, with direction and supervision

  • Create and maintain technical documentation

    Role Qualifications as an IT Intern:

  • Preferred candidates will have some post-secondary technical training in Information Technology fields. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered.

  • Basic understanding and experience with Microsoft products

  • Knowledge or educational training on LAN/WLAN

  • Troubleshooting end user device, application, or connectivity issues

  • Basic understanding of operating systems and application installations

  • Fundamental understanding of security best practices

  • Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines

  • Clear and effective communications skills – written, verbal

  • Work independently or with others as part of a high-performance team

  • Time management and schedule organization in support of assignments

  • Able to work under supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures
