Job Description Insurance Specialist 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 HEADQ Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Insurance Specialist-Drug Testing & Motor Vehicle Record, you will assist in the administration of our drug free workplace program and perform all the requirements for the preparation and processing of motor vehicle records for the company. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will collaborate with other departments, employees and leadership to ensure compliance with company drug testing and vehicle policies. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Coordinating drug test appointments for current and prospective employees o Tracking, entering, and reporting drug test completions and results o Working with Company managers and employees to ensure a drug free workplace o Maintaining and developing program procedures o Ordering and processing Motor Vehicle Records for new and current employees o Processing of Fastenal Driver's Licenses in order for employees to operate a company vehicle o Working with the Department of Motor Vehicles and Fastenal employees o Generating reports and filing REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Possess or working towards a degree in Insurance, Human Resources, or Business OR have relevant work experience o Knowledge of Oracle/PeopleSoft o Proficient in a second language ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
