Cinch Connectivity Solutions Test Technician - Days in Waseca, Minnesota

You'll be part of our Production team that will be proficient in assembly and testing of multiple product lines in support of the development of technologies, products, and processes, to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements of the customer. Our team is proud of their contributions, making high tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense. Are You Looking to Proficient in assembly and testing of multiple product lines. Review test setups and make recommendations to improve quality and efficiency. Provide technical assistance to Assemblers in the areas of design, layout and detail drawing and testing equipment of experimental models. Maintain testing equipment and organize working area. Are You Ready to Setup, troubleshoot and perform maintenance and order replacement parts. Educate personnel in the proper setup procedures, including the use of correct tooling. Participate in AS9100, ISO, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification and solution verification. Prepare prototypes of components assembles product which meet established specifications. What You'll Need Two or Four year degree in Electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Job Requirements: Education and Experience Basic Qualifications Associates degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling: Places and removes objects on desks or in drawers or cabinets. Picks up and puts down containers. Presses levers, uses mouse keyboard to enter data. Uses office equipment/machines as needed per job. Reaches, outstretches arms, and pulls out drawers or objects at arm's length, overhead or at floor-level towards body or into and out of drawers, cabinets and/or file boxes. Grasps clasps, pinches and/or squeezes objects. Positions, rotates and repositions hands, wrists and fingers on mouse and/or keyboard for prolonged periods. Uses wrists hands and fingers to rotate, manipulate, and/or operate phones, keyboard and mouse and office equipment per job regularly. Talking/ Hearing: Effectively listens to, converses and communicates with, and expresses oneself to internal and external customers and others as required per job, in person and on the telephone regularly. Seeing: Prolonged close-up and/or distance viewing of computer monitors and documents. Views and understands documents and spreadsheets. Views and understands SOPs and engineering drawings. Identifies, determines, recognizes, computes, estimates, observes, and assesses information and documents online or in hard-copy form regularly. Views and discerns surface imperfections on very small parts and visually inspects cables and cable braid hairs for imperfections regularly. Other Demands: Plans, performs, makes decisions, detects problems and measures outcomes for multiple tasks and projects under urgent and/or conflicting deadlines regularly. Working Conditions: Exposure to RF/microwave devices, chemicals or solvents or high noise levels regularly. Uses computer monitor, keyboard and/or mouse, telephone/headset, and other office equipment for prolonged periods. Wears PPEs per job description and/or tasks regularly.
