At Gundersen Health System, we're seeking a Business Analyst to join our Practice and Patient Management (PPM) Strategic Work Team as a Developer. You will work to develop solutions that improve and ease patient access to appointments through optimization of scheduling and online scheduling solutions. Practice and Patient Management uses the Agile methodology(Scrum framework). As part of the team: The developer evaluates, prioritizes, designs, builds, tests, educates,and releases new content, solutions, and services as directedby and in collaboration with the Solution Owner You will report to the functional leader, however operating within a matrix leadership structure You will work closely with various departments and on a cross-functional team Perform the "how" from the prioritized backlog using the Scrum framework to complete assigned work during a sprint Understand the priorities, vision, mission, and how the solutions connect with staff. Become familiar with the Scrum framework and participate and lead various scrum events, as well as meet and collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts. Support and engage in change management, as well as have meaningful connections with frontline staff to understand what they need and ensure that the solutions being created meet their needs. It is important that a developer on the Practice and Patient Management team brings innovative thinking to the team and is able to quickly learn and adapt and bring solutions based on feedback.It is key that Developers are collaborators, influential, innovative, coachable, take initiative, autonomous, and customer-centric. What's Available: Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Schedule: Monday-Friday days Remote/ Hybrid with on-site needs across a variety of campuses What Do You Need: Bachelors degree in business management or a related field At least 5 years' experience as a business analyst or within a similar role Ability to think critically,analyze data,and make sound decisions aligned with long-term goals. The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders A strong desire to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Job Description: The ITDS Business Analyst role at Gundersen who works with Agile and Project teams to help improve our patient experience and business results. This may include business process analysis, software configuration, testing, meeting facilitation, and problem solutioning. This role will work closely with one or more Agile Teams on a regular basis, taking direction from the appropriate Solution Owners. Major Responsibilities 1. Work with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to map current business processes and baseline costs. 2. Analyze current processes to identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve the patient experience. 3. Monitor processes after improvements to determine impact and validate if business objectives are met. 4. omplete additional analysis as necessary to support the work of Agile teams in delivering value to the business and improve patient experience. 5. Configure software to enhance technology products or fix defects, especially where business knowledge is valuable or required. 6. Support teams with testing to ensure solutions are high quality and don't introduce new defects, including completing testing and coordinating testing with other teams. 7. Create documentation as needed for the technical team members to reduce efforts of expanding/supporting technology products and users to help improve their experience, reduce total cost, and increase time spent on enhancing features. 8. Utilize a structured approach to analyzing and identifying potential solutions for business problems in collaboration with Solution Owner(s), Business Leader(s), Experience Designers, Development team, and others. 9. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions as needed to better understand our current state and find solutions to business problems. 10. Summarize findings and present to appropriate leaders/stakeholders to share key insights and potential solutions. 11. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance. Education and Learning: REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field Work Experience: REQUIRED Minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst or similar role. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity. DESIRED Experience working in a healthcare and an Agile environment preferred.
