Job Overview OE Manufacturing Support/Engineering. Shop process development/documentation. Field inspection/Engineering Support. Estimate budget and scope of projects, IE Dipper and large structure manufacturing. New Product Development Support. OE machine assemblies. Key Job Responsibilities Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems. Estimate budget and scope of projects, IE Dipper and large structure manufacturing. Preparing project quotations and reports. Coordinate components for OE structure builds. Prepare procedures and associated documentation. Evaluating and managing facility systems and components. Liner package development and modifications. Collaborating with Shop Manager and Supervisor for proper allocation and tracking of resources. Assist with new product launches - (performance and component forecasting). Assist with field inspections and studies. Assist with project planning on new machine builds in our Iron Range region which includes upper Michigan mines. Qualifications/Requirements A strong foundation in technical skills, such as mathematics, physics and computer programming, and soft skills, such as problem solving, communication and teamwork. Practical experience in mechanical engineering. Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks and other mechanical design software.
