Description
We are in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist for our team located in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with handling our company's accounts payable, maintaining accurate records, and processing customer inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained.
• Take appropriate actions in monitoring customer accounts.
• Use accounting software systems to manage accounting functions.
• Handle account coding and accrual accounting tasks.
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business processes.
• Use ADP - Financial Services for payroll and HR services.
• Manage expenses and reports through Concur.
• Perform auditing to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle transactions via Automated Clearing House (ACH).

Requirements • Proficient in Account Coding techniques and practices
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, and its application in accounting
• Skilled in the use of Concur for travel and expense management
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrated business process management
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently
• In-depth understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Competency in Accrual Accounting for recording revenues and expenses
• Auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic money transfer
