Mission for Position The RN Clinician- Anticoagulation and Medication Refill Nurse is responsible for collaboration and incorporating care for individual patients within Lakewood Health System. The RN will perform functions with an adequate level of knowledge, experience, training, and scope of practice to enhance high quality care to patients. This role will extend support to our RN Clinicians with provider panels for timely patient communication result management. Position Summary The RN Clinician - Anticoagulation and Medication Refill Nurse will provide direct management over our Anticoagulation panels and Medication Refill management. This role encompasses support within the RN Clinician team with provider panels, supporting coverage and in-basket management. This person will also participate in staff meetings, educational in-services, and any other educational opportunities to stay current and up to date with clinical practices, policies, and protocols. Position Type Full-time hourly position 64 hours per pay period Starting wage at $30.00 per hour, with additional compensation based on applicable experience. Qualifications Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing Program Must have and maintain a valid MN RN Licensure Maintain BLS Healthcare Provider certification Ideal Candidate Ability to work independently and with direction from leaders and providers. Ability to work as a collaborative team. Preferred prior clinic experience with anticoagulation management, medication refill processes, clinic in-basket management and patient care needs. Promotes excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to concentrate in a fast-paced work environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to follow protocols and adapt to changing patient needs. Prioritizing of daily tasks and preparation of work needs. Completion of annual competencies within role enhancing safe patient care.
