Regions Hospital Practical Nurse, Digestive Care in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Digestive Care team and make a difference for our patients and our community. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and the supervision of the registered nurse, the LPN is responsible to observe and monitor patients, perform and document practical nursing practice at Regions Hospital, and to provide work direction to ACs and Volunteers; to perform and document dependent functions such as carrying out the physician's medical orders; to assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, his/her family, health professionals and important others; to perform related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Per-Diem Required Qualifications: *Completion of an accredited training program for Practical Nursing *Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of Minnesota *CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications: *Six months practical nursing (LPN) experience Benefits: We offer an on-site employee fitness center, an on-site physical therapy clinic for employees as well as on-site employee clinic to make it more convenient for our staff to get the care they need.
