Department Overview Children's Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and evaluates and treats all pediatric sleep disorders in infants through young adults. Sleep disorders include, but are not limited to: Insomnia, Circadian Rhythm Disorders, Hypersomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The Sleep Center includes a Sleep Clinic with board certified sleep providers, an APRN, sleep psychologists and RNs. It also includes a 6-bed state of the art Sleep Lab to diagnosis and treat Sleep Disordered Breathing disorders and Hypersomnia disorders. The Sleep Lab staff includes 2 board certified sleep providers, the Sleep Lab Clinical/Technical Supervisor and 15 Sleep Technologists. Position Summary Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment or consultative services to patients of all ages, presenting with conditions or disorders of sleep including sleep-related breathing disorders (such as obstructive sleep apnea), circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia, parasomnias, disorders of excessive sleepiness (e.g. narcolepsy), sleep-related movement disorders in ambulatory settings. This position requires one week of call every 3 rd week in the Sleep Lab. We value teamwork, open communication, safety and respect. Qualifications Required: Current Minnesota RN license Current MN APRN license Master's or higher degree in nursing with a focus in clinical specialization Nurse Practitioner certification required through Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) Current BLS Preferred DNP Pre vious Sleep Med experience strongly preferred or related experience in Gen Peds, Pulmonary, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Developmental Behavioral Peds Physical Demands Please click here to view the Physical Demands The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota.
