Regions Hospital Medication History Pharmacy Intern in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is looking for an outstanding Medication History Pharmacy Intern to join our team. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with all state and federal laws, the Medication History Pharmacy Intern will obtain and document medication histories for patients admitted to the hospital through patient or patient family interviews, contacting retail pharmacies or primary clinics, and medication history software queries. The Intern will enter medication history information in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate completion of medication history to the pharmacist. The Intern may have other projects as assigned, but will not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Work Schedule: Per diem, day/evening shift with rotating weekends. Required Qualifications: Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program or graduate of an accredited pharmacy program. Registered as an intern with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy. Preferred Qualifications: Pharmacy students finishing their first or second professional year. Additional Information: This is a non-union per diem day/evening shift with rotating weekends position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $22-$25 per hour, based on years of education. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is not eligible for benefits.
