Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing leadership team as an Inpatient Nurse Supervisor for our South 9 Orthopedic and General Medical Surgical Unit and work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others! The South 9 Unit is a 36 private room unit that has orthopedic and general medical surgical patient populations. Our nursing team cares for a diverse group of patients with a variety of care needs and we pride ourselves on making connections with our patients and families to partner together. The Supervisor will facilitate the successful functioning of the South 9 Unit through communication, working knowledge of departmental and hospital policy, and rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, and ancillary departments. Additionally, the Supervisor oversees day-to-day operation of the Unit and provides direct patient care and provides supervision of clinical inpatient staff. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Monday-Friday working split shifts to connect with colleagues who work days and evenings. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Nursing OR Associate's degree in Nursing and currently enrolled in a Baccalaureate degree program in Nursing with an established date of completion required. Two years of clinical nursing experience required. Two years' experience in nursing leadership (e.g. charge nurse, supervisor, etc.) or leadership position outside of nursing required. Clinical experience in area of specialty preferred. Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota. Demonstrates at the time of employment and every two years thereafter, competency in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
