Compensation: $16.25/hour

Job Functions include assisting people with special needs with:

  • Cooking, cleaning, and household chores

  • Financial and behavior management

  • Medical appointments, health and medication management

  • Transportation and involvement with shopping and community activities

Starting wage is $19/hr for a DSP position with the following requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check including driving record

  • Over 18 years old

  • Valid driver's license

  • Minimum of 6 month work related experience

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Willingness to work at both St. Paul homes as needed.

  • Minimum commitment to working 2 days/week and 2 weekend shifts per biweekly pay period.

  • This position does not include the benefit package.

Starting wage is $17.25/hr for a DSP II - Lead position with the following requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check including driving record

  • Over 18 years old

  • Valid driver's license

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of work related experience depending on highest level of education

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Willingness to support the Program Manager with menu planning, grocery shopping, staff scheduling and training, household needs, client appointments, and shift coverage.

  • This position includes the full benefit package at 30 hr/wk or more.

Starting wage is $16.25/hr for a DSP position with the following requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check including driving record

  • Over 18 years old

  • Valid driver's license

  • This position includes the full benefit package at 30 hr/wk or more.

Starting wage is $15.75/hr for a Aide II (non-driver) position with the following requirements:

  • Ability to pass a state background check

  • Over 18 years old

  • This position includes the full benefit package at 30 hr/wk or more.

The Services for Persons With Special Needs (SPSN) division is dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency, independence and active community engagement for individuals with developmental disabilities of any age. Support services may be provided in the consumer's home, in their local community, or in a residential setting.
