What’s in it for you:

We are looking for a collaborative and creative Controls Process Engineer that thrives in a team environment, creating solutions for challenging customer driven business needs. This role will be responsible for ensuring that Trane controls products and tools meet the established standards set by the company. You will collaborate closely with both Engineering and Manufacturing Leaders to develop product verification and production deployment processes, coach teams, and ensure adherence to industry, regulatory and security standards.

Where is the work:

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of St. Paul, MN

What you will do:

· Primary Engineering point of contact for on-site and contract controls manufacturing teams.

· Oversee, assess, and improve existing controls processes and workflows.

· Optimize operational productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.

· Develop controls production test specifications and scripts

· Assemble reports to document process status and changes.

· Define and track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor results.

· Communicate findings and proposals to upper management.

· Assess compliance with applicable quality and security standards.

· Influence and strengthen the culture of the team.

· Identify, assess, and solve challenges and work independently.

What you will bring:

· Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent work experience

· Software development lifecycle and methodology experience

· Controls hardware development and manufacturing experience, a plus

· Proficiency using scripting languages, a plus

· Strong ability to work through influence

Compensation:

Base salary for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 . Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
