The company is vertically integrated with a strong presence across the pork value chain - from farm to fork. Christensen Farms is the largest shareholder of Triumph Foods LLC, a producer-owned primary pork processing plant in St. Joseph, Missouri. In turn, Triumph Food members own 50 percent of Daily's Premium Meats, a specialty pork processor bacon and other premium pork products. Triumph Foods also holds a 50 percent partnership in Seaboard Triumph Foods, LLC of Sioux City, Iowa, a primary pork processing plant.
Position Overview & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assessing and evaluating equipment, structural integrity of facilities (interior and exterior), and electrical systems on all company assets to determine end of life, recommended replacement schedules, and develop associated budgets. Travel and overnights will be required for this position.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Schedule and conduct site assessments in all regions of operation, which should include the condition of equipment, replacement schedule, electrical systems, interior and exterior building structural condition and needs.
Maintain database of facility conditions and detailed replacement forecast for all assets.
Recommend site improvements and repairs based on assessment findings and observations.
Assist in development and documentation of detailed work and scope of projects.
Gather quotes for recommended repairs in order to provide project estimates for budgeting and approval process.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:
Minimum formal education required: High School Diploma required. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience required.
Minimum 5 years' experience in hog farm repair and/or installation
Experience in performing electrical inspections.
Some familiarity in hog terminology.
Other Skills required: Previous construction experience, knowledge of equipment functionality and ability to read and interpret blueprints required. Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Strong communication skills are required, both written and verbal. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Must possess a basic understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
