Quality Technician Wiman Corporation in Sauk Rapids, MN, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Quality Technician. In this role, you are responsible for conducting inspections and testing materials in various stages of the manufacturing process. Position: Quality Technician Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Type: Full-time Direct Hire Hours: 1st shift Pay: Starting at $18/hr. & up based on experience. Job Summary: As a Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Doing this through compliance with quality standards and procedures through continual improvement, supporting the delivery of on-time, defect-free products that meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers. Responsibilities: Perform multiple different tests on our plastics material during different stages of production. Inspection of completed skids and pallets for labeling and packaging. Operate office equipment and use software applications such as Access, Excel, and Microsoft Word. Utilize calipers, micrometers, and various testing machines to ensure plastics meet specifications. Perform measurements and quality control tasks using computers, scales, and rulers. Physical Requirements: Normal vision or vision corrected to a normal range. Ability to distinguish differences in color and texture. Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to spend extended periods of time in an office setting.
