Robert Half Operations Coordinator in Sartell, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team based in Sartell, MN. This role primarily involves coordinating various operational tasks within the logistics and transportation services industry. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that necessitates strong skills in customer service, communication, operations, and time management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation of orders, activation of shipments, and building of loads in line with office and company policies and standard operating procedures.

• Assign loads and schedule appointments, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and accurately.

• Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to promptly respond to customer and carrier requests.

• Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to our standards and those of our customers.

• Handle invoicing, payment processing, and financial updates, focusing on precision and timeliness.

• Provide exceptional customer service by tracking and tracing shipments, resolving queries, and following up on requests.

• Execute non-standardized activities related to carrier payments and order rejection or cancellation, as necessary.

• Use Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently to maintain accurate customer records and manage office functions.

• Uphold a commitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.

• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and company policies, including those related to quality and logistics.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Strong customer service skills, preferably with experience in a call center environment

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written

• Familiarity with office functions and operations

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Knowledge of invoicing and payment processing

• Ability to maintain high-quality standards

• Understanding of logistics and shipping functions

• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to execute tasks and projects in accordance with standard operation procedures

• Knowledge of transportation services

• Creative and innovative thinking

• Experience in developing and executing validation plans

• Proven track record in contributing to business growth

• Understanding and adherence to discrimination laws

• Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures

• Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
