Job Description: A major fortune company is searching for a Senior Tax Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns and workpapers, evaluating tax compliance, and researching tax law relating to various indirect taxes. If you are looking to be challenged through evolving work, while maintaining a high level of work-life balance, then this role might be a fit for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in preparing tax returns and workpapers for indirect taxes such as sales & use tax, gross receipts tax, and business license taxes.
- Assist with state and local tax audits.
- Research and review tax law changes.
- Suggest process improvements and aid in technology-related projects to automate tax compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relative field.
- 5+ years of tax-related experience, 3+ years handling transaction or sales & use tax compliance.
- CPA preferred.
