Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at Hamline University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology, specializing in any of the following areas: Applied Social Psychology, Personality, Interpersonal Relationships, or Health Psychology (applied social or biological focus) to complement or expand upon our current curriculum to begin in fall 2025. Department faculty are highly collaborative and active, public-facing, and productive scholars. As a department, we focus on providing undergraduate education in psychological science by focusing on theory, practice, and high-impact educational experiences. Tenure-track faculty typically teach six courses per academic year, with a one-course reduction during the first year and a three-course release after a successful 3rd year review. A Ph.D. in Psychology is required; ABD applicants with expected defense dates by August 15th, 2025, will also be considered.
