Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing vendor invoices and inquiries, ensuring accurate expense and invoice coding, and processing employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor invoices and inquiries using the AP ticketing system
• Communicate effectively with staff to obtain necessary documentation and approvals for vendor payments
• Ensure accurate expense and invoice coding for all transactions
• Process employee expense reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation requirements are met
• Respond promptly and professionally to vendor payment inquiries
• Enter payments accurately into Lawson Accounting system
• Process payments to vendors and employees efficiently
• Handle credit card processing for company cards, including expense coding and journal entry preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Knowledge of Concur software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accrual Accounting
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH)
• Proficiency in Coding Invoices
• Experience with Account Coding
