Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will be leading the Accounting team, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the Accounting team and overseeing all Accounting operations

• Directing the month-end close process in line with GAAP and internal controls

• Reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement for accuracy

• Implementing strategies and processes to optimize working capital

• Driving enhancements in internal controls and accounting practices across the organization

• Liaising with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance

• Overseeing compliance filings to minimize potential fines

• Fostering and maintaining relationships across the organization

• Taking charge of special projects as requested.

Skills:

• Proficient in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Month End Close

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

• Familiarity with Public Company Reporting. Requirements • Extensive experience in managing accounting functions.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Skilled in conducting Auditing tasks and Month End Close procedures.

• Proficient in using MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

• Knowledge of Public Company Reporting.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be advantageous.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and procedures.
