HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE REASONS YOU WILL LOVE IT HERE Generous Time Off Superior benefits Annual merit 401(k) match Tuition Reimbursement Responsible for ensuring the company's products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying shortfalls, developing corrective measures, and partnering with supervisors and managers to implement quality control systems. Responsibilities Major Responsibilities Coordinate investigations for customer complaints; Create RCA (Root Cause Analysis) responses to customer complaints; Manage improvement initiatives (cost savings, efficiency, scrap reduction, quality, down time); Manage/coordinate internal audits of the Quality Management System; Compile audit findings and coordinate corrective action; Coordinate the control of documents (work instructions, forms, procedures) and ensure they are reviewed on a yearly basis; Compile and communicate quality metrics on a weekly and monthly basis (customer complaints, scrap rate, etc.); Contribute to continuous improvement ideas and encourage co-workers to do the same; Manage quality lab forms/templates and monitor data for points out of control and out of spec; Coordinate the calibration of lab equipment Other duties assigned by managment Physical Requirments Ability to be present in the facility and work a minimum of 40 hours per week; Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during company's regular business hours however evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; ability to be available for all shifts required; Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus; Work is in a typical manufacturing environment; prolonged sitting and/or standing required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the facility; climb ladders; crawl under/over; reach; bend; stoop; lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally. Qualifications Qualifications Strong problem-solving mentality; Ability to drive down into the root cause of issues; Strong collaboration ability; actively involves others in accomplishing a common goal; Strong technical writing ability-ability to explain complex, technical matters in layman's terms; Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methods such as 5 Why, A3, Cause Mapping, Fishbone Diagrams, DMAIC, etc. Effective oral communication skills Elementary english proficiency communication skills necessary Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or a demonstrated proficiency in a similar position for 5+ years; Minimum two (2) years' experience in a production environment; ISO 9001:2015 understanding and familiarity; training/certification is a plus Internal auditing experience; training/certification is a plus Minimum two (2) years' project management experience involving cross-functional collaboration and timelines; Lean/Six Sigma experience; green belt or black belt certification is a plus.
