Learn more about us at https://www.hawkinsinc.com/careers/ ABOUT THE JOB The Acquisition Integration Director will be responsible for the operational integration of production branch plants of newly acquired companies into Hawkins. Primary responsibility will be to plan, prioritize and implement Hawkins' safety, compliance and operational programs at newly acquired companies. This individual will work closely with the Integration Manager and HSE Director to align priorities and timing to deliver on objectives identified during the acquisition phase without disrupting the customer or impacting the business. They will directly supervise the plant manager of acquired production plants or directly oversee operations as acting plant manager. Secondary responsibilities will be to assess and implement process improvements at existing Hawkins' branch plants. Responsibilities: Integrate the newly acquired company into Hawkins' safety and compliance programs including, but not limited to OSHA, DOT, EPA, NSF, cGMP, SQF, ISO etc. Set an example for the safe operation of the plants and instill a passion in every employee to be 100% Safe 100% of the Time. Purchases all equipment necessary for safe and compliant operations Works closely with HSE to ensure strict compliance with all applicable environmental permits. Works closely with Water Treatment Group Trainers to prioritize and plan driver training Assess, develop and train site leadership to build a winning team that meets the cultural standards of Hawkins (Teamwork, Responsibility, Relationships, Action-Oriented, Customer-Focused, Courage) Lead the operations team through the adoption of the Hawkins' ERP system Work closely with Finance and business groups to ensure proper financial, inventory and ERP practices are followed Identify potential risks and challenges during integration and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to business operations. Foster a cohesive organizational culture by promoting collaboration, communication, and alignment of values between the acquired company and Hawkins Lead operations through the adoption of Hawkins Quality Management System including the creation or revision of current SOPs and Work Instructions Determine root cause and implement corrective action through required change control for any assigned customer quality issues. Coordinate efforts with Maintenance personnel, communicate plans and contingencies to production personnel and follow up on the adherence to any written deviations. Work closely with Quality Leadership by providing the staffing and equipment time to support their quality improvement efforts. Assess the need for and manage capital improvement projects to drive safety, compliance and operational efficiencies Oversee time and attendance management, performance reviews and conflict resolution for assigned employees. Manage team of leaders responsible for work assignment of all assigned administrative, production and shipping employees. Coordinate and conduct training of production employees to ensure all are capable of supporting the production schedule. Maintain an hourly employee review system in compliance with Hawkins' HR practices Recruit, train, develop and lead group leaders, and all assigned production and shipping operators. Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed. ABOUT YOU Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum 10 years' experience leading a team Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead teams, drive change, demonstrate courage and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge f manufacturing processes typically gained through a minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant manufacturing environment Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, JDEdwards preferred Strong employee relations skills, including coaching and communication Root Cause/Corrective Action Analysis Familiarity working in a regulated environment (ISO, SQF, GMP, etc.) Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand and climb stairs for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to work in a warehouse facility where temperatures may range from 45 up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit; as well as work outside in all weather conditions. Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching. Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours on occasion in response to emergencies (Please refer to SOP for facial hair guidelines.)
