Learn more about us at https://www.hawkinsinc.com/careers/ ABOUT THE JOB The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting in HR projects designed to deliver greater service to Hawkins internal and external customers. This role will assist all aspects of her including recruiting, training, compliance, benefits, and performance management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Possible duties will include the following: Recruiting: Complete localized recruiting project to identify tech schools, organizations, local chamber of commerce and other resources to enhance our recruiting efforts. Creating local posting strategy for areas we continue to struggle to attract talent. HR Communications: Assist with the migration of HR Training materials into the ETQ Platform. Support the expansion and roll out of onboarding tools to additional departments. HR Compliance: Review Employee Files and ensure compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines. Complete employee file integration for one point of truth reporting including updating termination files. Internship Review: Prepare and deliver a presentation to senior leadership on the internship experience including learnings, suggestions, and outcomes for the company. REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related program Availability for a 10- to 12-week summer internship Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, time management, analytical and presentation skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with confidential information with discretion Competent with Microsoft Office Suite applications PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in an office setting Ref. 2025-180 All applications must be received online.
