Our Rosemount, MN facility is in need of a Machine Operator to join our team! We are looking to fill our 2nd Shift (3pm - 11am) .To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.   • Follow all Plant and Safety Rules, G ood M anufacturing P ractices ( GMP ), and wear P ersonal P rotective E quipment ( PPE ) at all times.

  • Follow Lock/Tag/Try process when working on the machine.

  • Maintain, rebuild, and repair all sewing heads; cutters, feeders, tables, etc.

  • Do all repair work possible in department, and record parts used and time to complete.

  • Keep spare parts inventory current.

  • Keep Sewing and Pinch machines running at maximum speed, while maintaining quality.

  • Assist Sewing and Pinch Machine Operators as needed.

  • Keep all daily, weekly, and monthly reports updated and neat.

  • Assist in training.

  • Learn and use the Factory Tracking System.

  • Responsible for the quality of bags produced.

  • Responsible for quality checks.

  • Responsible for safety, quality, productivity and waste management.

  • Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.

  • Work overtime as needed.

  • Must have good verbal and comprehensive communication skills.

  • Production reporting using basic computer and math skills.

  • Understand and follow the 5-S program.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

  • Ability to bend, twist and kneel.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand continuously for 2 – 3 hours.

  • Ability to perceive colors.

  • Must have manual dexterity.
