IDR Inc Staffing Coordinator - Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota

IDR is seeking a Nurse Staffing Coordinator for one of our top Healthcare clients in the Rochester, MN. This is a 3 month contract role. Responsibilities for the Nurse Staffing coordinator: * Receive staffing requests and allocate resources for patient care units on a shift-by-shift basis. * Allocate staffing resources based on patient care needs by reviewing reports and collaborating with charge RNs. * Analyze staffing patterns to balance needs and make decisions about hiring or granting excused absences. * Contact staff to grant excused absences, communicate placements, and determine availability to work. Requirements for the Nurse Staffing Coordinator: * Highschool Graduate or GED Required * 6 month - 1 year of experience working within a coordinating position, preferably in the healthcare field, OR has the same amount of experience working within an HR role. * Preferred experience with inpatient care unit in a patient care or support role.. * Experience with computer data entry, customer service, and excellent communication skills What's in it for you? * Full Benefits during the contract!
