Performs production work to maintain skill sets as required Responsibilities: * High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience * Minimum of 1 year of work in area of coaching; Coach entry to mid-level production roles *Monitor, track, and schedule training with new coworkers * Complete training check lists, including re-certifications * Review training progress with trainee and provide feedback (weekly); adjust training plan as needed * Provide production supervisor with documented training status updates (weekly) * Review documentation in PFS for accuracy, quality compliance and updates * Work with supervisors and engineers to continuously improve the quality of the production training process * Inspect trainees work with sampling size based on competency of trainee. Trainer can reduce sampling as the trainee demonstrates proficiency, knowledge, and competency of work. * Cross train coworkers in various manufacturing operations as need to meet production goals * Perform operator duties defined in job specific role overview when not training * Lead by example by supporting Benchmark Core Values, policy, and objectives Other information: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Effective interpersonal skills * Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required * Effective organization and prioritization skills * Demonstrate high attention to detail * Ability to work with diverse groups * Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment. * Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools. * Strong customer service and client focus * Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software * Ability to read, understand, and train others in process instructions, schematic drawings, and manufacturing routings * Capable and willing to cross train in a secondary area and to work overtime as needed * Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company * Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required, including shift and site flexing * Demonstrate strong component/part recognition skills * Ability to work overtime when needed * Ability to work with and train diverse groups * Demonstrate full competence in assembly cycle time and quality; Ability to train to that level without the assistance of leadership or technical support * Possess certification and/or completed Coach Certification Checklist * Must successfully complete the BEI "Train the Trainer" class Education: Geographical Location: Minnesota:Rochester Physical Location: Rochester, MN Shift: Shift 2 Work Schedule: M-Th 1545-0100 Full Time Export Control: This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
