Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $75.000-$110,000/Yearly . This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
What you'll be doing as a Senior Mechanical Designer:
The Mechanical Designer creates designs and technical documentation for mechanical devices and equipment. Ideal candidate will have experience with industrial automated equipment, gear reduction, servo and VFD drives, etc. Works well independently and with a team.
Customer interaction to help establish machinery requirements and determining automated processes
Traveling to customer facilities to discuss and understand manufacturing process and concepts
Design and manage complete machine assemblies while maintaining company design procedures
Delivering design presentations with both internal and customer teams to ensure all requirements are satisfied
Tracking design progress of multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously, and ensuring design consistency
Creation of documentation for the machine build process
Interaction and cooperation with other departments. (Machining, Welding, Purchasing, Assembly)

Job requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
High Mechanical Aptitude
Complex problem solving
Autodesk Inventor experience (or similar)
AutoCad, Macros, Visual Basic, and Excel skills desirable
Strong Communication Skills
Works well under pressure
Machining and assembly knowledge
Background check required
