We at Fairview Health Services are looking for Medical Assistant to join the dedicated team at our Fairview Princeton Clinic. This position is approved for 80 hours every two weeks. Pay for this role starts at $22.50 and increases based on experience and offers a $4000 sign on bonus.

We believe the schedule for this position will be: Monday/Wednesday 800 am to 430 pm, Tuesday 945 am to 615pm, Thursday 645 am to 315 pm, and Fridays 830 am to 5 pm

We at the M Health Fairview Clinic in Princeton care for a wide range of patients including: Family practice, Pediatrics, OB, and Internal Medicine. This is one of our larger locations with 3 teams that total 17 providers with two more joining in the next year. Princeton is a rural community allowing you the chance to create long lasting relationships with your patients as you will see them multiple times over the years- some of our providers are now delivering the second generation of babies they once delivered.

Responsibilities Job Description

As a member of the patients care team, the Medical Assistant supports quality patient centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions supporting the needs of both the healthcare team and patients. The MA will collect information and documents to support the patient visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting cohesion with all members of the health care team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow

  • Delivers care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.

  • Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient support team preferences, provider schedule, in collaboration with other care team members.

  • Efficiently communicates compliance and concerns to delegating physician/authorized practitioner/RN.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN

  • Basic Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ambulatory Care Experience

  • AAMA Certification
