R&D Analytical Chemist

Job Description

Supports R&D projects for new and existing products. The successful candidate will implement non-routine strategies and innovative solutions within USP guidelines & cGxP practices. This candidate will be asked to perform method development, validation, and transfers within USP guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical testing using ICP-MS, UHPLC/HPLC, GC, etc.

  • Conduct research and design strategies for new or improved products/processes.

  • Direct other chemists in interpreting project results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Solve analytical problems and investigate atypical results.

  • Maintain and update equipment and procedures.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all activities.

  • Lead operational excellence initiatives and develop new techniques.

  • Share research outcomes and mentor team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years; Master’s Degree with 3+ years; or PhD with 2+ years in chemistry.

  • Experience in analytical labs, cGxP practices, and independent method development.
