A manufacturer in Minnesota is looking for an Electrical Designer. A BS Engineering degree is preferred and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience is required. Should have familiarity with design concepts, procedures and tools. PLC programming is a needed skill. Family owned. Hourly rate and great benefits.

responsibilities:
Designing electrical control panels and connected field equipment.
Troubleshooting electrical problems with products or systems.
Installing, servicing, calibrating, and updating electrical systems.
Repairing or replacing faulty electrical parts of a product.
Writing instructions for field users to install equipment.
Specifying bills of materials for control panels and other electrical designs
Calculating and inspecting electrical loads for safe use
Using 2D CAD to design ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and component layouts.
Writing programs for programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
