Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) MRI Technologist - Twin Cities Orthopedics in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota

Description The MRI Technologist performs quality images per physician's orders while providing excellent care to patients. This is a part-time (0.2) position working Saturday and Sunday every other weekend from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This role will be based out of our Stillwater location. A $3,500 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. Essential Functions: Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury Inform and prepare patients for procedures Maintain patient files, including internal and external films Prepare, clean, and stock work area with supplies Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair Maintain the necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients to ensure patient is able to tolerate MRI exam comfortably Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an ARRT approved program ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
