Job Title: Welder
Job Description
Candidates will be MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding will also be a part of their duties along with assembling the exhausts. The majority of the work will be a mix of custom and production style MIG welding. Candidates need to know how to read blueprints and weld symbols. Being able to perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop is key to learning and growing within the company.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel
Produce exhaust systems for various markets
Tack welding and assembly of exhausts
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Assist with fabrication work including running a brake press, shear, roller, etc.
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop
Essential Skills
MIG welding experience
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Experience with metal fabrication
Knowledge of welding techniques including plasma cutting, TIG welding, and wire feed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with brake press operation
Proficiency with tape measure

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00
