A Day in the Life

This is a remote role with a willingness to be accessible to Medtronic’s CRDN Santa Rosa location and MN headquarters; the ability to travel as needed to destinations for quarterly and annual meetings

Renal Denervation (RDN) is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Manager with preferred knowledge of the CV and hypertension space. The Marketing Operations Manager will drive partnership and collaboration with US Marketing and Market Development and marketing functional leaders to ensure strong process design and implementation of strategies designed to increase demand and drive market adoption.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a developing, dynamic team that introduced a new therapy in the United States to transform healthcare for hypertension (HTN) patients. The SymplicityTM Blood Pressure Procedure received FDA approval in November 2023, with a milestone of one year in the market achieved.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER :

The person in this role will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating and measuring operations plans that accelerate key marketing and market development strategies and objectives

  • Measures the quarterly Marketing plans for the US Marketing and Market Development Organization in collaboration with key cross-functional partners.

  • Partners with the Market Development Director, Managers, and internal operations partners to facilitate successful execution and best-in-class processes.

  • Support business acumen training, Market Development structure and design, and quarterly contests that align with organizational objectives

  • Drives partnership and collaboration with US Marketing and Market Development leadership teams including, but not limited to Market Development, Downstream Marketing, Customer Programs, Sales Training, to execute and report using systems, data, and insights to ensure strong process design and implementation of strategies designed to increase demand and drive market adoption.

  • Measure and instill processes led by the sales and marketing team, maximizing short and long-term potential.

  • Guides the Marketing and Market Development organization by leading the implementation of go-to-market strategies. Works with Marketing and Market Development management team on driving market development strategies and driving programs and resources in their areas to drive market growth.

  • In collaboration with key leaders and cross-functional partners, creates market development measures and key performance indicators. Develops metrics to assess the effectiveness and execution of market development strategies and programs. Utilizes data to identify and communicate key opportunities.

  • Provides input in the development of key business plans to drive excellence in customer experience.

  • Ensures that the company’s ethical position is maintained and effectively communicates and manages the company's business conduct policies. Acts in adherence to Medtronic corporate operating policies.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

  • Ability to travel as needed to Marketing or Market Development meetings, and routine market development team meetings.

Nice to Have :

  • Field clinical or technical field experience working in the CV space

  • Experience working with field teams, and knowledge of field team processes and operations

  • Understanding of market development growth and share strategies with experience working with market prevalence and claims data to support organizational initiatives

  • Knowledge of hypertension or experience working with hypertensive patients

  • Experience in developing a new market and product launches, i.e. implementation of key tactics, execution, and performance tracking

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$143,200.00 - $214,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
