UnitedHealth Group M&A Project Manager - Denver, CO or Minnetonka, MN Preferred - Remote in Minnetonka, Minnesota

The M&A Project Manager is responsible for supporting the M&A Legal team in its day-to-day operations. Primary responsibilities will include project managing, overseeing and coordinating state and federal antitrust and other regulatory reviews of transactions. Secondary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing confidentiality agreements, non-reliance agreements and other ancillary M&A contracts. This role will have a high level of interaction with the internal M&A team and external M&A counsel and support functions. The role will also require building and leveraging networks across the organization in connection with M&A transactions and related regulatory reviews to ensure diverse and decentralized teams are coordinated and meet project deadlines. The M&A Project Manager will be expected to work independently and proactively manage large and complex projects.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Project management of antitrust and other regulatory processes relating to M&A function

  • Continuous process improvement of antitrust and other regulatory review management

  • Oversight and management of NDA and other ancillary M&A agreements

  • Researching legal issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • 3+ years of project management experience working in a dynamic, professional environment

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Proven solid verbal & written communication skills

  • Proven highly organized and coordinated

  • Proven independent and highly-motivated worker

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal Certificate

  • 5+ years of project management experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
