Description

We are searching for a meticulous HR Coordinator to join our team based in Minnesota. The candidate must be local to Minnesota. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity within our industry. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in various HR functions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional service in responding to HR-related inquiries. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding by conducting orientation meetings and managing the I-9 verification process.

  • Support HR Business Partners through comprehensive administrative tasks; this includes data entry, reporting in the HRIS, and coordinating various HR initiatives.

  • Maintain and manage their HRIS system, ensuring accurate data entry for new hires, departures, job and pay changes, and position creation.

  • Communicate effectively with employees and serve as a point of contact for policy clarification and interpretation.

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of company engagement activities to foster a positive employee experience.

  • Conduct exit interviews for appropriate positions, providing crucial feedback to the HR team.

  • Other executive administrative duties.

    Requirements

  • Must live in Minnesota.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Proven experience in administrative assistance, preferably within an HR department

  • Ability to prepare and manage expense reports effectively

  • Experience in arranging travel for employees, including booking flights and accommodations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information
