We are looking for an Area Sales Professional to grow our Next Generation Grid Management (NGM) portfolio business in North America. This is a remote position based in the Contiguous U.S.

You will have a proven record of success selling Software as a Service solutions and will put those sales skills to work driving the growth of our next-generation SaaS products. You will achieve sales targets by generating new business and building relationships with customers.

You’ll make an impact as you:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level customers and key stakeholders in the energy industry.

  • Lead the sales conversation from the initial C-level engagement to deal closure.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product development, and customer success—to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to improve sales strategies and tactics.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) selling software, ideally to utility customers

  • Proven success in selling SaaS solutions to complex organizations, demonstrating your skills in communicating, presenting, negotiating, and closing.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to travel 30%

  • Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the utility industry

  • Experience with MEDDICC and/or Challenger selling

  • The base salary range for this position is $105,910 - $181,560. Additionally, a sales incentive plan is part of the compensation package for this sales position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
