Job Description

This role has multiple levels, open to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in project management activities. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

The WCIB Digital Business Project Manager will lead and manage business readiness activities for priority digital projects within the Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking (WCIB) Digital organization with a major focus on Pivot Digital. This team member will proactively lead the WCIB digital initiatives across Pivot, online banking, mobile apps, the public site and vendor platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with WCIB business readiness teams and key stakeholders to provide business readiness and project management support for Digital product rollouts.

  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional business and technology partners as well as vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain project plans for multiple WCIB Digital projects (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

  • Manage project performance and project team members in planning, documenting, and executing to successfully complete projects on time

  • Track project milestones, action items, risks, and issues to closure; and communicate regular status updates to the project team and stakeholders

  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues within projects

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths

  • Facilitate project meetings, take meeting notes, document action items to be shared with the project team, and maintain documents on SharePoint and OneDrive

  • Partner with WCIB Digital Program Manager to resolve program level risks, issues, and dependencies

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to eight years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Hands-on project management experience in financial services / banking industry

  • Experience with / knowledge of investment products and business readiness activities preferred.

  • Strong collaboration skill with cross functional teams - cross-functional project management experience, made up of product management, technology, marketing, compliance, user experience, development, operations, training, and customer service

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and listening skills

  • Flexible. Ability to work in a fast and changing environment with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work through ambiguity and competing priorities

  • Ability to ramp quickly on new businesses and business problems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with Agile methodology preferred, including JIRA and Confluence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiar with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • PMP certification (preferred)

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,455.00 - $112,300.00 - $123,530.00
