Role description The Supply Chain Operations Lead will operate in a specific client group focused on managing suppliers and being customer focused on assigned retail assets. With the support of our Partner Performance & Optimization Team and the Group Service Delivery Manager, the Supply Chain Manager will focus on driving efficiency and high performance of suppliers on assigned retail assets. Supply Chain Management In partnership with service line managers, create and define asset & client specific service line requirements adhering to JLLs risk and compliance guidelines and procurement policy Understand and interpret client sustainability requirements and how this translates into service requirements for JLL and appointed suppliers Identify opportunities for suppliers to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and reduce environmental impact Performance manage local suppliers in line with contractual requirements Support small-to-medium enterprises to understand how to successfully join the asset supply chain and deliver their services sustainably Support suppliers to report any sustainability outcomes in line with client requirements and JLL sustainability targets Provide training & information to suppliers about sustainability from the MS sustainability team Procurement Work with the project manager and project team to implement a new local procurement strategy on assigned retail assets Create new service line requirements in line with JLL risk and compliance policies for retail assets Review existing local procurement processes and procedures with Centre Managers and FM team across 4 retail assets Create and implement new local procurement and management processes and principles including fairer payment practices for assigned assets Provide regular updates and progress reports to project sponsors, project team and governance team as and when required Gather good news stories and sustainability from suppliers and share best practice with JLL teams and supply chain Plan, organize and host meet the buyer events with center managers and FM teams Identify opportunities to procure goods and/or services from third-sector organizations or social enterprises Identify opportunities for delivering sustainability improvement across the assigned assets Relationship building and engagement: In partnership with the Partner Performance & Optimization Team, launch and manage the request for information (RFI) and tender process for with existing and new suppliers on assigned assets Be a point of contact for local suppliers (outside of our national framework) on assigned assets Work collaboratively with the Group Delivery Manager, Centre Managers, FM teams, client teams and customers Build positive relationships with JLL teams, Contract Directors, Client Relationship Directors Role requirements and experience 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience. Bachelor's Degree - Business or Supply Chain Management preferred Be able to demonstrate extensive supply chain management experience within property management, FM or similar business with customer and client facing experience In-depth knowledge and practical experience of tender and procurement processes and procedures Proven experience of using multiple and complex data base systems for managing suppliers A good understanding and knowledge of sustainability issues relating to supply chain A good understanding of the role of the property management business and role in the asset life cycle Experience of managing projects with multiple parties with many links in supply chain Work under minimal supervision in a rigorous manner to deliver accurate, high quality, engaging and client ready outputs e.g., written and data reports Excellent relationship building and client management skills Excellent negotiation, communication and persuasion skills, with ability to co-ordinate proje ts that require input from large numbers of client, colleagues and supplier staff Highly advanced information management skills, plus complementary use of face to face, telephone, and email mediums of communication A strong team player with the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people JLL Is an Equal Opportunity Employer JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
