Job Title: Supervisor Managing

Job Description

Awareness of and willingness to follow/implement Lean Manufacturing practices. Resolve problems effectively with both people and processes. Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and remain calm and consistent in high-pressure situations. This role requires 5-7 years of relevant manufacturing experience in sheet metal, paint line, and parts department, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience successfully leading others is required.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Manufacturing plant that produces drawers for cash registers. The environment is not messy but not perfectly clean. Expect to stand the entire day on an assembly line, with occasional sitting on a stool. The shop has air conditioning but can get warmer due to the ovens. Candidates will rotate assembly positions every 2 hours for variety. This is a tobacco-free environment as of January 2015; no tobacco is allowed on the property. First shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with mandatory overtime from 5:00am - 2:30pm.
