Ameriprise Financial Sr Project Coordinator-PMO in Minneapolis, Minnesota

"Provide enhanced project support to project teams and participate on projects within defined scope and responsibility. Partner with their team and department to develop, manage, track, and report work progress on projects as defined. Provides elevated support on project issues. Entry level utilization of company/industry project management methodologies and tools throughout the project life cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the coordination of multiple projects. Document, gather and maintain key details in project tools of required data, tasks, and timing needs of project stakeholders.Gather information and analyze problems across the team and department to proactively recommend solutions to leadership. Work with the team to maintain a project plan containing objectives, timeline, priorities, and risks.Assists in creating, updating, and distributing project documents. Creates documents and process flows for the project team to facilitate understanding of complex project issues.Supports meetings including scheduling, assisting with agendas, supporting documentation, and meeting minutes with outcomes. Provides administrative and tracking support to the team as necessary.Assists in tracking and identifying risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and open questions and follows up as needed. Uses influence, resourcefulness, and initiative to minimize their effect on the project. Make recommendations on priority tradeoffs within and between business projects, as needed. Address and resolve project conflicts.Post-implementation results monitoring and adjustment of key projects. Continually improve project skills via learnings and best practices from prior business projects, training, peers, etc. Facilitate distribution and/or archival of project documentation.Required QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent3 to 5 years relevant work experienceExperience with project analysis and/or project management.Detailed, timely, accurate; proven tracking and analysis ability.Experienced in identifying and raising issues, avoiding bottlenecks, and providing support to keep projects on track.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsAsset Management/Financial Services experience.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and VisioDetail-oriented but able to conceptualize from the detail.Strong organizational, relationship management, personal workload management, self-starter and results-orientedAbout Our CompanyWe're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration as of 2022.
