We are seeking a full-time Senior Transit Project Manager to join our growing and innovative transit design team. In this role you would help lead and manage the civil design portion of transit projects of all types and sizes including, but not limited to, conceptual transit alternative studies, preliminary design to support environmental documentation and final design plans including multi-modal connections. Location options for this opportunity include Tallahassee, FL, Chicago, IL, Omaha, NE, and Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN. We will also offer the opportunity for this position to be filled remotely with occasional travel to one of our two Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area offices. Enjoy a competitive salary and rich benefits package Networking opportunities through local and national conferences Responsibilities: Project Management - effectively manage multi-disciplinary project teams for a wide range of transit projects Staff Supervision - provide for staff growth through nurturing staff in a respectful, collaborative approach that promotes individual professional growth and positive team spirit Group growth - assist the group leadership in developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the market including short and long-term action plans and financial goals Client Relationships and Marketing - identify and actively pursue project opportunities resulting in securing work Required Qualifications: Related 4-year degree with 10+ years' relevant experience Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated aptitude in organizational, technical, and analytical skills Demonstrated capabilities in supervisory and team building skills Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft office suite experience Engineering Licensure or desire to pursue professional engineering licensure Interest or passion for involvement in the development of nationwide innovative transit projects Seeking someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills Visa Sponsors ip is available for this position.
