Fairview Health Services Resident Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with benefits and hourly wages ranging from $21 - $27 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team in Minneapolis, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;
40 hours every two weeks
Part time, Evening shift
Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required:
If under the age of 18, must be on the MN CNA registry
Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting
Satisfy the Minnesota Home Care licensure qualification, training, and competency for unlicensed staff
Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines
Preferred:
High School diploma or GED
Completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course
One to three years of previous experience
