The primary responsibility of this position is the administration and scoring of psychological tests, especially measures of cognition. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Administers and scores psychological tests. (65%) - Adapts administration of test to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures set forth for each specific test. - Administers and scores a variety of psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of a clinical neuropsychologist. The tests measure a wide variety of cognitive functions and include tests of intelligence, learning and memory, language skills, perceptual-motor skills, executive functions, abstraction, psychomotor performance, vigilance/reaction time and objective personality tests for any age group. - Tests are accurately and carefully compiled with appropriate behavioral observations noted for use by a neuropsychologist in the interpretation. Completion of paperwork. (25%) -Generates a written summary of patient's behavior during testing. - Maintains test materials/supplies - Compiles data for clinical and research purposes. - Enters test data accurately into relevant database(s). Provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served (If applicable to position). (10%) - Partners with patient/care-giver in care/decision making. - Communicates in a respectful manner. - Ensures a safe, secure environment. - Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs. - Modifies clinical interventions based on population served. - Provides patient education based on assessment of learning needs of patient/care-giver. This position will be a hybrid remote position but testing must be completed on campus. Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials Required Qualifications: * BABS in a health related field or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse adult populations. * Basic measurement and computer skills. Good observation skills. Good reading and writing skills. * Must have good interpersonal, written and communication skills. Attention to detail, ability to work. autonomously.
