Honeywell Program Controls Specialist II in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Program Controls Specialist II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be accountable for managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you will work out of our Aero location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and overall success of multiple programs and projects within the Aerospace business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide the program controls function for projects and programs

  • Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies

  • Monitor and control project costs and budgets

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

  • Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices

  • Responsible for reliable program EVM (earned value management) application, compliance and procedures

  • Responsible for program EAC (estimate at completion) management

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is 68k-95k. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is 68k-95k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is not incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles

  • Experience with project planning and scheduling tools

  • Microsoft Project experience

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
