Vontier Pricing Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Pricing analysts are responsible for leading the implementation of robust forecasting, contract strategies, deals, and pricing requirements into our current ERP system to help drive revenue and growth. In this role you will collaborate closely with Internal stakeholders to implement strategic pricing vision for our major oil accounts. The pricing analyst is a key resource who plays a crucial role in driving cash flow improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain trade agreements for major oil accounts, internal, and external customers.
Demonstrate proficiency in navigating all internal and external resources to validate and ensure accurate pricing.
Team with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies align with customer’s expectations.
Exercise judgement and discretion to properly plan, modify, and create trade agreements and pricing initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, determine, and execute process improvements.
Analyze deals for accurate pricing.
Develop and maintain promo codes to aid internal and external stakeholders.
Drive timely and accurate turnaround for all pricing initiatives.
Identify transactional process improvements and technology tools.
Audit sales orders to identify discrepancies, document findings, and implement change.
Background and Skill
College degree-4 year required.
2+ years of work experience preferably in a pricing, marketing, revenue management or financial function.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerBI)
Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.
The ability to analyze data and quickly find solutions to solve complex issues.
Ability to manage multiple sources of information and make independent, timely, and accurate decisions.
Effective in building and maintaining relationships.
Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
Project Management experience (Plus)
SQL experience preferred
The base compensation range for this position is $73,000 to $85,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
