The Minnesota Veterans Home (MVH) - Minneapolis is looking for a full-time Plant Maintenance Engineer (PME). As a PME, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the maintenance, replacement, repair and operation of heating, cooling, power equipment, and other mechanical systems.
Note: Days of work and work hours are primarily Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with occasional on-call outside of normal working hours and/or occasional on-call on the weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

A State of MN Engineer's License, 1st class B
Valid Class D Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Plant maintenance experience involving repair of heating and ventilating equipment as a major focus.
Experience with minor repairs to heating and ventilating equipment and/or minor electrical repairs.
Experience repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Coursework in steam engineering maintenance or repair (e.g., welding, plumbing, electricity, steam engineering, boiler operation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and steam fitting).
Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of computer-based work order systems.
Additional Requirements

A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment.
