We welcome applications in all areas of mechanical engineering. In particular, those with expertise in one or more of the following general areas are highly encouraged to apply: * Manufacturing and Materials Design * Thermal Sciences and Fluid Mechanics Successful candidates will complement our department's current expertise and grow strategic synergistic collaborations across the department and University. While we primarily seek candidates at the assistant professor level, senior-level appointments for qualified candidates will be considered. Qualifications Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline by the date of appointment. A successful candidate is expected to have the potential to lead a high quality, innovative research program and to effectively teach graduate and undergraduate-level courses to a diverse group of engineering students.
